Anderson, South Carolina—Andrew Potter, Esq. announces the formation of the boutique law firm of Potter Law, LLC, which launched on July 1, 2016. Potter Law, LLC will provide expert legal services on special education matters involving IEP and 504 plans, representation of parents in Due Process hearings and in meetings and hearings involving school districts, suspension and expulsion hearings related to a child’s disability, violation of IEP plans and 504 plans by school districts, juvenile delinquency matters and criminal matters. Mr. Potter’s practice will be state wide in state Circuit Courts and the Federal District Court for South Carolina.

Mr. Potter has successfully earned a Certificate in Special Education Advocacy from the PELE Institute in Special Education Advocacy from the William and Mary Law School.
Mr. Potter recently left the 10th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office where he has practiced as a senior litigation attorney for the past 15 years and headed the juvenile delinquency division. Andy brings a wealth of knowledge that comes with 24 years of practicing law in multiple jurisdictions and professional involvement with state and national organizations focusing on special education and criminal defense.
